Although Pisco is not super popular yet, it is by far on of the most pure and special spirits out-there. I first heard about Pisco back in 2009 when I meet Lizzie Asher, co-founder of Macchu Pisco. We enjoyed an amazing cocktail called Pisco Sour and I wanted to share this recipe with all of you to try. If you are hosting your friends or family and want to impress them, give Pisco Sour a go - but make sure to use only Macchu Pisco.
Pisco Sour Recipe using Macchu Pisco
1 Egg White
3 Ounce Macchu Pisco
1 Ounce Simple Syrup
1 Ounce Fresh Lemon Juice Bitters
In cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine egg white, Pisco, simple syrup, lemon juice and cover. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and strain in to six ounce cocktail glass. Top with few drops of bitters.
